Marketing Manager (Part or Full Time)
Role Summary
We are looking for an exceptional marketing manager to oversee all internal and external facing activities of Eville & Jones.
From an external perspective, this means developing our brand identity, our messaging, and building media relationships to ensure that we are visible and relevant to our customers, and future employees (both past, present, and future).
From an internal perspective, this means managing our internal messaging so that we are consistent, relevant, inspiring, and always delivering what our people need.
You will manage a small team of both staffs and outsourced, marketing professionals. This truly is an opportunity to make your own, and play a key role in growing our business.
About Eville & Jones
Our role is to ensure that meat is safe to eat and that manufacturers and processors of meat maintain the highest standards of animal welfare. Our team of 800 public health vets and inspectors work at every slaughterhouse in England & Wales under a sole provider contract with the Food Standards Agency. Our vets and inspectors also work with the country's largest food exporters, undertaking certification to give confidence to overseas consumers that British meat produce is of the highest possible standard.
Despite a number of challenges, Brexit is enabling our business to significantly and rapidly grow, presenting opportunities to both develop our existing service offering, but also expand into new areas. We have an ambitious five-year plan which will deliver significant operational, cultural, and financial growth. We are therefore recruiting a new position of Marketing Manager to help realise this plan.
About you
You will be a strong communicator with a proven record of collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver results. You will be well versed in both online and offline marketing, marketing strategy, content marketing, and public relations and have experience in copywriting.
We are looking for someone who is very hands-on, and can oversee multiple projects at the same time. The behaviors we are looking for include:

• Generalist marketer with full marketing mix experience
• Strategic use of social media to drive awareness and web visits
• Keen eye for marketing collateral and web page design
• Ability to develop clear plans and achieve agreed timescales and objectives
• Experience of brand management, campaign development and delivery
• Direct experience of both digital and traditional offline marketing channels
• Ability to gather and interpret data to develop marketing tactics and strategy
• Content creation ability and an eye for detail
• Experience of design or close collaboration with designers
• SEO and PPC management (desirable but not essential)
What we will expect you to do
We will look to you to manage and oversee our internal and external marketing, shaping our brand identity and positioning in order to attract and retain great people and great customers.
You will develop and implement a marketing strategy within agreed budgets and KPIs and will manage a team that currently consists of a Graphic Designer, PR consultant, digital marketing consultant, and digital marketing coordinator. You will ensure that work flows and visions are aligned and deliver results.
In more detail, we would look to you to:
• Develop an annual marketing and brand strategy
• Plan and execute marketing strategies in conjunction with the overall corporate objectives.
• Develop and execute a communication plan for external and internal communication, promoting the company's mission, vision, and values.
• Develop and maintain company template documents.
• Work with other stakeholders and external advisors to create online multi-channel marketing campaigns for increasing brand awareness, lead generation and customer acquisition.
• Responsible for offline activities including events, networking, print publications, advertising, and direct mail.
• Create written content for website, blog posts, brochures, press releases and other communication.
• Manage and develop corporate websites and social media platforms.
• Monitor media coverage and brand reputation threats
• Reporting on marketing activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Research industry trends, target audiences and competitors
• Lead internal communication and engagement by maintaining culture within Eville & Jones

We are ideally looking for a full time hire, but for the right person, we would consider part time working.
